Krysta Marie Hartley of Staten Island, New York, and Christopher Ryan Shur of Middletown were married Oct. 6.
Krysta is the daughter of Michael and Shirley Hartley, Monroe. She grew up on Staten Island and graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Krysta then went on to Yeshiva University, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City for her juris doctorate. She is a senior management analyst for the New York State Courts.
Chris is the son of Suzanne and Allan Shur of Middletown. He attended Middletown schools and graduated from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia with a bachelor’s degree in business. Chris went on to Yeshiva University, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, where he met Krysta, and graduated with a juris doctorate. He is an associate attorney at Epstein, Becker & Green in New York City.
The couple married Oct. 6 at Sacred Heart Church, Staten Island, followed by a ceremony and reception Oct. 7 at Mallard Island Yacht Club in Manahawkin. They live in New York City.
