Frederick Dollinger

Frederick Dollinger, 74, of Belford, passed away peacefully at home July 21. He was born in Elizabeth and lived in Belford for many years. Fred proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He worked in banking for 40 years, retiring from Two River Bank as vice president. He was a faithful and active parishioner of St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Keansburg. He was a member of the Elks Lodge 2159 in Belford. 

Surviving are his devoted wife of 50 years Joyce Dollinger; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Stephanie Dollinger and their children, Patrick Dollinger, Trinity, Skylar and Gavin Murray; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and David Lee and their children, Morgan and Connor Lee; brother Gerald Dollinger; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Michael Greene; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Renee Werthwein; sister-in-law Joann Dollinger; and several nieces and nephews. 

Frederick was preceded in death by his parents, George and Florence Dollinger, and his brother Richard Dollinger 

Visitation was held July 23 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A Funeral Liturgy was offered July 24 at St. Ann’s Church, Keansburg.
