Lincroft Boy Meets the Giants

JACK ESPOSITO, age 11, from Lincroft, had the day of his dreams recently when the Monmouth Medical Center Foundation representatives made a special trip with Jack to the Quest Diagnostic Training Center in East Rutherford, for the NY Giants’ first day in full pads for the 2015-2016 NFL season.
Jack, a pediatric cancer patient from The Valerie Fund Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at The Unterberg Children’s Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center, is a big Giants fan. Through the help of the foundation and foundation supporter Jim Quirk, Jack spent the afternoon talking with NY Giants players and watching his favorite team practice.
“It was really exciting to meet my favorite players, like Eli Manning and Victor Cruz,” he said. “I liked meeting Mark Herzlich because he is a cancer survivor and it showed me that there is so much I can achieve after cancer, too.”
Quirk, a Rumson resident and an executive director of the National Football League Referees Association, just wanted to make it a special day for Jack, a hero to many.
