Life wasn’t always so full of distractions. There was a time when time was passed talking, listening to the radio or playing games with our relatives. The family was the center of a person’s universe.
Monmouth Players, Monmouth County’s oldest theater group, brings audiences back to that simpler time with Neil Simon’s Lost In Yonkers, playing Fridays at 8:15 p.m. and Saturdays at 2 p.m. through Feb. 25 at the Navesink Library Theater, Sears and Monmouth Avenues in the Navesink section of Middletown.
Lost in Yonkers won a Pulitzer Prize and a Tony Award in 1991. The production is directed by Paul Renick, Highlands, and Bob Mira, Middletown.
Admission is $17, $14 for seniors and students. Reservations are required. Call (732) 291-9211. For more information visit www.Monmouthplayers.org
