New Editor Named At The Two River Times™

Two River Times Publisher Ellen Cancellieri McCarthy has named veteran journalist Michele J. Kuhn as the newspaper’s new editor.
Kuhn, a life-long Central New Jersey resident with more than 30 years in journalism, began her newspaper career as a copy girl at The (former) News Tribune in Woodbridge. Among the variety of posts she has held, Kuhn has been a municipal beat reporter, police reporter, features writer, education writer, courthouse reporter, sections editor, assignment editor and local news new editor. A graduate of Villa­nova University, she holds a bachelor’s degree in political science.
“As someone who has spent my entire career in community journalism in New Jersey, I am excited to be joining The Two River Times™,” she said.
“This is a fantastic area with exciting people, vital institutions and interesting, creative events. I am looking forward to working with our paper’s dedicated staff to continue bringing readers the stories that give them the information they need and help them learn more about their hometown and their neighbors,” Kuhn said.
McCarthy, who worked with Kuhn at The News Tribune, said: “I am thrilled to have Michele as part of The Two River Times™ family. She has a  passion for community journalism and a long-time association with  the two river area. I look forward to collaborating with her on enhancing our web and print coverage.”
