RED BANK – Addy Nyemchek has been highly regarded throughout her high school career at Red Bank Catholic within the borders of New Jersey. Now, she’s getting her flowers as one of the best players in the country.

The Caseys senior was selected to play in the 2026 McDonald’s All-American game, an honor reserved for the top 24 players in the nation. The Indiana University commit is the first Hoosier signee to be selected for the elite showcase. Nyemchek has scored over 1,500 points in her career and is averaging just under 20 points and 6.6 rebounds a game, leading coach Joe Montano’s squad to a current 18-2 record.

“I am so happy to see her hard work and ability recognized with this prestigious honor,” Montano said. “Addy is a talented player but an even better person and teammate.”

Nyemchek was the catalyst in RBC’s 2024 state championship and 2025 Shore Conference title. As she begins the final chapter of her high school career, she is looking for one more state title and SCT championship.

She is the sixth player from the Shore Conference to be named a McDonald’s girls All-American and the first since St. John Vianney’s Zoe Brooks in 2023. In 2022, RBC’s Justine Pissott was a McDonald’s All-American. Pissott is currently playing at Vanderbilt, while Brooks is one of the top players in the ACC at North Carolina State.

The 2026 McDonald’s All-American game is set for March 31 in Phoenix and will be televised live on ESPN.
