The 12-soundstage production studio planned by Netflix for almost 300 acres of Fort Monmouth will run roughly down the center of the fort from Oceanport Avenue to Route 35.

The borough hall was packed for Oceanport’s reorganization meeting as officials were sworn in, honors were doled out, and a new mayor took his seat on the dais.

Oceanport asked Netflix for a town hall for Christmas. The borough could get it for Easter.

The next step – Netflix’s presentation of its Reuse Plan to the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority (FMERA) – is imminent, officials said.
