The students serve as ambassadors to spread awareness, educate, recruit, mentor and provide community outreach about the opioid epidemic. Throughout the year they also fundraise for programs and volunteer at the foundation’s many community activities and events. Tigger House Foundation is a drug prevention foundation which works to reduce heroin and opiate addiction.

Carley Dietrick, the foundation’s addiction navigator and student alliance coordinator noted that networking, socializing with friends and being able to stay active help people feel good which in turn is a way to combat addiction.

Students interested in becoming part of the alliance program can fill out a form at tiggerhouse.org/student-alliance or email info@tiggerhouse.org.
