Federal and state government offices and the Post Office are closed. Schools have the option to close. The following activities will be held honoring those who have served our country.

Wednesday, Nov. 11:
Colts Neck’s Veterans Day Ceremony starts at 11 a.m. at Cedar Drive Middle School. Participating are Colts Neck FRHSD Navy JROTC Academy, Cadets, Color Guard, and Drill Team. The Cedar Drive middle school band and chorus will perform. The Woman’s Club of Colts Neck will hold a luncheon for veterans and their guests after the ceremony. Info: cnrecparks.com
In Holmdel, the annual Veterans Day ceremony at the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial at 11 a.m.
Little Silver will be holding a simple ceremony at Memorial Park on Prospect Avenue at 11 a.m.
Oceanport will be performing their annual Veterans Day Ceremonies at 11 a.m., beginning at 222 Monmouth Blvd.
The Borough of Red Bank and the Red Bank Elks will be hosting the annual Veterans Day service beginning at the Veterans Monument on Monmouth Street, at 11 a.m.
Rumson’s Veterans Day Ceremony will take place at 11 a.m. beginning at Victory Park on River Road.
