10/17 – Red Bank to Hold 67th Halloween Parade Sunday

RED BANK – The borough will be holding the 67th Annual Halloween Parade on Sunday, Oct. 19, beginning on East Bergen Place.
The parade line up and costume judging will begin at 1 p.m. at the corner of East Bergen Place and South Street. The parade will begin at 2 p.m. The parade will travel north on Broad Street, west onto White Street and then continue to the White Street Parking Lot for a celebration filled with entertainment, prizes and goodies.
Prizes will be awarded for best costumes by age group, best small group and best pet costume. A variety of activities will be provided for youth education and entertainment. Musical entertainment will be provided by Salmon Jam.
The parade’s sponsors and contributors are the Red Bank Fire Department, Sports Authority, Chuck E. Cheese’s, The Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, Sickles Market, Dunkin Donuts, Party Corner, Saber Events Services, Atlantic Watch Pipes and Drums and Foodtown.
Residents are invited to come out to support this Red Bank tradition by bringing their family, friends and even their pets. However, for the pets’ safety and for the safety of others, no retractable leashes will be permitted.
The event’s rain date will be Sunday, Oct. 26.
