MIDDLETOWN – Brookdale Community College, Lincroft, went to the dogs once again Saturday, April 27 when it played host to the 25th annual Dog Walk & Pet Fair. Dog owners from all over New Jersey were greeted by Monmouth County SPCA volunteers and given capes for their dogs to wear to go along with the theme “My Dog is a Super Hero.” Attendees enjoyed live music from a band called The Wag as they checked out the many vendors as well as a silent auction to benefit the MCSPCA. Highlights from the day included a performance by the Disc-Connected K9s, a Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office K-9 team demonstration, and a puppy kiss and hug booth that gave everyone the chance to cuddle with a puppy.
