MONROE – The 16th Annual Special Strides Barn Benefit, Dance and Raffle will be held at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Congress Hill Farm, 118 Federal Road.
Serving 135 people, mostly children, every week, Special Strides is a nonprofit organization devoted to improving the lives of individuals with special needs. The organization’s annual Special Strides Barn Benefit, Dance & Raffle raises funds to provide financial assistance to those individuals who would not otherwise be able to receive therapy at Special Strides.
Tickets are $150.
The Barn Benefit, Dance & Raffle will include a gourmet cocktail reception with an open bar and dinner catered by Palms Plaza. The band SpeedLimit will provide live entertainment, and guests will dance the night away to tunes by The Beatles, Bruce Springsteen, The Rolling Stones and more.
Special Strides encourages guests to purchase a raffle ticket for the chance to win a $10,000 travel voucher to anywhere in the world.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Special Strides and the Steven Werthan Memorial Fund. Main event sponsors include UMH Properties, Jersey Janitorial, Monmouth Real Estate Investment Corporation, Amboy Bank and 33 Car Wash.
