RED BANK – The borough council unanimously approved a $4.875 million bond ordinance for the first phase of construction on the long-awaited Department of Public Works facility, which will replace deteriorating temporary trailers that have housed workers for more than two decades.

TINTON FALLS – In a move to modernize municipal infrastructure while maintaining fiscal discipline, Tinton Falls has unveiled a nearly $9.15 million capital improvement plan for 2025 that promises to transform the borough’s roads, parks and utility systems.

RUMSON – Mature trees surrounding the Meadow Ridge Park parking lot were uprooted last month, disturbing some residents. But according to the borough, the tree removals are a necessary step in executing long-term improvements to the popular park.

RED BANK – From the borough’s riverfront to its streetscapes, green spaces to manholes, residents are about to feel and see capital projects unfold all around them.

The Henry Hudson Trail (HHT) will be getting some major improvements over the next several years, including a dedicated “hub” in Freehold Borough and two important extensions that will make hiking and biking on this 10-foot-wide paved trail much more enjoyable.

In Oceanport, the intersection of Oceanport Avenue and Main Street will be under construction for improved traffic flow and pedestrians.
