SEA BRIGHT – Sunny skies, warm temperatures and perfect waves blessed the 15th year of Skimbash, a weekend skimboarding competition held on Sea Bright’s beach, open to enthusiasts of all ages who compete in 15 different age divisions. There were also divisions for semi-professionals, professional women and professional men. Skimbash is organized by Felicia Stratton and Melissa Stevenson who document the action with live scoring. The September event was the kickoff for the Skim USA 2020 tour. Spectators who lined the beach both days to watch the action were treated to dolphin sightings, too.
