Mary Bozza of Lincroft celebrated her 100th birthday with socially distanced friends and family.

Bozza received several bouquets of flowers and a proclamation from the Middletown Township Committee. Many of her neighbors came out too – socially distancing – and others waved from their windows.

She was born July 22, 1920 in Newark. She moved to Lincroft in 2014 and lives independently at Luftman Towers senior apartments. She has made lots of friends. Perhaps the secret to her longevity is that she loves to dance, wear nice clothes, and has always been young at heart. Her words to live by: “There is always room for dessert.” This made her 54-year marriage to Dan, a pastry chef, all the more sweet!
