HOLMDEL – As people all over the Two River area find ways to support frontline workers during this pandemic, leaders of iCIMS in Holmdel are offering their employees a unique chance to give back.

Employees of the software company, headquartered in Bell Works, are now donating a portion of their paychecks to those in need, and iCIMS is matching whatever they donate. So far, the company has raised $30,000, which will directly benefit three hospitals in iCIMS communities including Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, Mount Sinai Hospital in New York and Good Samaritan Hospital in California.

“What I am most inspired by right now is the unique ways people are giving back to those in need and the companies that are banding together for the greater good,” said Steve Lucas, CEO of iCIMS. “I am proud of the small part we play in this, as our employees many of whom have spouses, partners family and friends who are health care workers recently created a program where they could choose to donate a portion of their paycheck to support local hospitals.”

Additionally, the company is working with its customers to connect people who have been recently furloughed or laid off with opportunities at organizations that are hiring, through its Connecting Customers site. The decision to do so comes as a way to fill critical roles at a time when there is a high demand for goods and services, he continued. “We simply want to say ‘thank you’ to all the essential workers who are risking their lives every day to save others. Let’s continue to give back, share inspiring stories and support each other. It’s what will get us through this,” said Lucas.
