New Pastor Appointed at United Methodist Church

RED BANK – The United Methodist Church of Red Bank is welcoming the Rev. Jessica Brendler-Naulty as the new pastor.
She will give her first sermon at the church Sunday, Oct. 5.  A reception will follow the 10:30 a.m. service. All are invited to join in the service as the church community welcomes Brendler-Naulty and her family to the church.
Brendler-Naulty comes to the church as a fourth generation United Methodist pastor, and Red Bank UMC is her fourth appointment since she began her ministry. Previously, she served the Haddonfield UMC, the Trinity UMC, and the Monroe Community Church.
With a B.S. in biology from Rutgers University, Cook College, and a master’s in secondary science education from Rutgers, Brendler-Naulty went on to Drew Theological School where she received a Master of Divinity. She has co-led youth and young adults to Taize, France, in addition to ministry in the areas of Christian education and nurture, children’s and youth ministries, counseling pre-funeral and pre-marital events, and teaching at confirmation classes. She also counseled at music camp, on bike trips and in equestrian camp.
Brendler-Naulty’s talents include singing with a contemporary band. Her husband Howard and infant twin daughters, Alyssa and Kristie, accompany her to this appointment.
