The Shore Conference is bringing a new look to its soccer tournament – inspired by the World Cup format – that will give new emphasis to the regular season.

Jack Wall has experienced great thrills in his golf career. He started as a state champion at Christian Brothers Academy and went on to big-time college golf at the University of South Carolina and Texas Tech.

The song remains the same for one of the most dominant swim programs in New Jersey: Christian Brothers Academy won the Shore Conference boys swim championship for a remarkable 32nd consecutive time.

After two years as a team competition, the Shore Conference returned to individual tournaments in each weight class, resulting in a number of state championship contenders getting a valuable tune-up for what’s to come on the road to Atlantic City.

Just weeks after capturing its 25th Meet of Champions title, yet again earning the designation as New Jersey’s top scholastic running club, members, alumni and friends of the Christian Brothers Academy (CBA) cross country program gathered on the great lawn of the sprawling Lincroft campus to honor a legend.

CBA, with its nationally ranked running program, is building a brand new Sheehan Track and Field. On Dec. 4 at 2 p.m., a beautiful life-size statue of my father running in stride, by renowned local sculptor Brian Hanlon, will be dedicated on the CBA campus to recognize his legacy.

Dyan Millevoi ran under the tent at midfield as the rain continued to pour down at CBA’s new home soccer pitch. For 85 minutes, the Colts and Freehold Township had to endure the coldest temperatures of the fall season along with a steady driving rain.

RED BANK – Red Bank Catholic head wrestling coach Joe Gallagher had tears in his eyes as his wrestling team posed with the first sectional championship trophy in school history. The Caseys have a lineup of young wrestlers who Gallagher thought would be making history in 2023 but instead, RBC arrived a year early following a 39-30 win at the Eck Center against Holy Spirit to earn the Non-Public “B” South sectional title.
