Republican candidates Rick Hibell and Kevin Settembrino were reelected by an overwhelming majority to the Middletown Township Committee Nov. 8.

At its workshop meeting Oct. 3, the township committee unanimously approved $5 million in bond ordinances for park renovations and design costs for public improvements, including to the Middletown Arts Center.
