MANASQUAN – The gym at Manasquan was electric with two passionate student sections, the stakes were as high as they come in Shore Conference basketball, and Rumson-Fair Haven had a score to settle.

OCEAN TOWNSHIP – Rumson-Fair Haven found itself down by 11 points at the midway point of the third quarter, staring at the end of its season. But 6-foot-9 senior Luke Cruz made sure the Bulldogs had more basketball to play.

BRICK – Just like Rumson-Fair Haven’s 2025 high school football season opening week game, its matchup against Brick Memorial was hyped as a top-five Shore Conference showdown.

BASKING RIDGE – Overtime wasn’t kind to the Rumson-Fair Haven girls lacrosse team in the early part of the 2025 season, with losses to Lawrenceville and Hunterdon Central. But that all changed in the final game of the season when it counted the most.

RUMSON – Rumson-Fair Haven has two Shore Conference lacrosse championships and both teams are still in the hunt for state titles.

RUMSON –- Rumson-Fair Haven is used to seeing long touchdowns from the Bulldogs under the Friday Night Lights in the fall. Now, it’s happening in the spring, thanks to the RFH girls flag football team.

For the 13th straight year, Christian Brothers Academy won the Shore Conference Indoor Winter Track team title, but this time, it didn’t come easy.

When Matt Bruno recorded the strikeout to secure the Bulldogs’ second straight section championship, the celebration was much more subdued than a year earlier.

Jersey Shore Arena hosted the Shore Conference’s two cup tournament finals Feb. 16. Saint John Vianney blanked Middletown North 3-0 in the Handchen Cup final, avenging a loss to the Lions in last year’s match-up.

After two years as a team competition, the Shore Conference returned to individual tournaments in each weight class, resulting in a number of state championship contenders getting a valuable tune-up for what’s to come on the road to Atlantic City.
